Theatrical Group "Epekina" of Ptolemaida
Wednesday 20 March 2024 - Time 8.30pm.
The Epekina Theatre Group started its artistic activity in 2016 and is based in the city of Ptolemaida. In the beginning it started as a theatrical group of the Cultural Association of the city, staging numerous plays by foreign and Greek writers.
It has participated with its performances in various Panhellenic Amateur Theatre Festivals winning several awards and honors.
Since the end of 2022, the group left the Association's roof, expanding its artistic activities to other areas, such as theatre seminars, concerts, book presentations.
The case of the project
Confusion, blackmail, machinations, intrigues, intrigues, races. The intertwining of the big bourgeoisie and politicians. The antics of the "eternal" Greek. The ways of money.
How does a fictional actress get involved with a hysterical maid? What is the connection between a minister, a deputy minister and a major public works contractor?
Money, blackmail, extortion, racketeering, bribes, power, kickbacks, scandals, love, infidelity, secrets and betrayed spouses, love-struck ministers in the arms of conniving contractors, the offspring of high-ranking people playing with guns and water pistols.
Where can all this lead?
But of course in a comedy to "tears".
