Biography
Kallia Theodossiadis is a choreographer-theatrologist and a graduate of the Niki Kontaxaki Higher Professional School of Dance and the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Peloponnese. With a focus on performing arts, she followed the specialization in physical theatre techniques and "practical application in choreography" at the "Institute del Teatre" in Barcelona. He is a graduate of the postgraduate course "Theatre and Society. capoeira(Brazilian martial art-dancing) in Athens.
She teaches contemporary dance, theatrical movement and capoeira at art schools and dance and theatre schools. She has taught at the Public IEK
Applied Arts in Dance and Acting in Theatre and Cinema and has given seminars to dancers, actors, musicians and singers in Greece and abroad.
As a choreographer-movementist, dancer and actress she has collaborated with institutions abroad and in Greece (such as the National Opera, the Greek National Opera, the Athens Concert Hall, the Patras Municipal Theatre, the Roman Conservatory of Patras, the Institut del Teatre Barcelona, the Northcote Theater Melbourne, etc.). He has collaborated with the directors N. Hadjipapa, Th. Espiritou, R. Moschochoritis, Th. Abazi, N. Kamtsis, G. G.Laspias, Lluis Graells, Cristian Atanasiou, etc.
He has also collaborated with the orchestras "String Nocturnal Orchestra of Patras Thanasis Tsipinakis", "Municipality of Athens", the Orchestra of Art and with notable composers and conductors (such as A. Simeonidis, G. Aravidis, N. Xanthoulis, K. Moustakas, P. Stephos, D. Papaggelidis, N. Neofytidis, V. Zeppatou, H. Papadopoulos etc.) .
He has undertaken the dramaturgical and artistic supervision (flame touching ceremony, opening ceremony of the games) in the 12th and 13th Revival of the Ancient Lycian Sports, Spiritual Games and Festivals in Arcadia.
She participates in street theatre festivals and European artistic programmes as a choreographer and performer and participated in the jury of 3ο Valitsa Theatre Festival "Athens Suitcase theatre festival "at theatre 104.
Her general interest in art has led her to participate in a wide range of artistic projects (ballet, dance theatre, street theatre, ancient drama, opera, commedia del arte, illusion show, phyiscal theatre, divise theatre, theatre forum, performance, documentary theatre, etc.).
