Summary

Everything is ready for the 36th Panhellenic Amateur Theatre Festival of Karditsa, organized by the Union of Cultural Associations of the Prefecture, from February 27 to March 7. The Festival is co-organized with the Region of Thessaly - Regional Unit of Karditsa, the Municipality of Karditsa, the Regional Union of Municipalities of Thessaly, the Chamber of Karditsa and with the support of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersala. For ten days, Karditsa is expected to be at the center of national interest with an event worthy of the prestige of the institution, which is the longest of its kind. Both the opening (Thursday 27/2) and the closing (Saturday 7/3) of the Festival will include, among other things, a musical programme with renowned artists to be announced soon. From Friday 28/2 the competition part of the Festival will start, where a total of 8 troupes will take part, selected from among 20 entries from all over the country.
